We were a group of ten- comprising of two families. There was a great mix of kids, teenagers and the middle-aged human. We knew golf holidays to Florida with this group would go beyond just having to shop golf equipment. I have been on golf trips to many places before but these were normally as part of my seminar trip and therefore I did not have to slog out the details. Only other main tour I have planned was a tour to Hawaii with my family and since it was not one of the golf holidays to some unfamiliar place, I did not have to be anxious about what my kids would do when my wife and I went golfing! Thankfully for us, we were being joined by another family for the trip. Pete and Martha have been my pals since my school days and Pete shared my interest for golf. Pete had gone on golf holidays to other places before but normally they were disasters because his family was trapped, having nothing to do while he went off golfing. So most of the times he would have to sacrifice his golf to keep his family entertained.
With our various experiences, we decided that when we arrange our golf holidays to Florida, we would do it in such a way that no one would feel bored and we would have our share of golf too.
We may not have opted for golf holidays to a better place! We stayed at a villa that had more than enough room for a group of ten. We had our privacy. There were 3 bathrooms and a spa. What thrilled up my small daughter was the well-maintained swimming pool.
Since Martha was not interested in golf, she, with the big kids, was in-charge of the rest of the group. There were some wonderful places to go shopping and Martha and the kids-children were kept busy while we set to playing some serious golf. My wife had a small injury and so could not play golf the next day. But there was never an uninteresting moment as we enjoyed the golf holidays to Florida. There is an amusement park near by and the ladies and kids ready for the park the next day. They had so much fun that they did not miss us one bit!
Our golf holidays to Florida were some of the best days of my life. We plan to go on golf holidays to different places every year now. My eldest daughter is showing very much interest in golf, hence we will have to buy golf equipment for her soon. She can join us in the golf course when we go on golf holidays to any place next time.
